Overview

This active, guided 8-day tour of Utah’s Mighty 5® National Parks gives you the opportunity to experience the magnificence of Utah’s geologic wonders while experiencing some great hiking. If you love an active vacation filled with hiking, exploring the parks, good food and excellent lodging, this trip is for you!

This Mighty 5+ Adventure has an aggressive itinerary, packing as much hiking as we can into each day. This trip features 3-8 miles of hiking each day. Hikes include Mesa Arch, Delicate Arch, The Narrows, Scout Lookout, Angel’s Landing and others. All guests signed up for this tour must be comfortable with moderately strenuous hikes and being on the move all day.

Itinerary

Day 1: (Monday) Fly Into The Salt Lake City International Airport

Your guide will meet you in a luxury 12-15-passenger extended high top touring van at the Salt Lake City Airport and transfer you to the Little America in Salt Lake City, Utah. A meet and greet will be held at the Little America Hotel's Lucky H lounge area. This is where you will meet your guide and the other guests on the trip.

Day 2: (Tuesday) Canyonlands • Dead Horse Point • Moab

Transfer from the Little America Hotel to Canyonlands National Park near Moab, Utah

• Gaze out from Dead Horse Point
• Hike along Island in the Sky mesa overlooking the valleys of Canyonlands National Park
• Hike to Mesa Arch
• Hike to Upheavel Dome
• Stroll the quaint streets of Moab, lined with inviting shops and galleries
• Dine at one of the many delicious restaurants Moab serves up. Keep in mind dinners are not arranged for or covered with the purchase of the Mighty 5 Tour
• Stay at the Radcliffe Hotel in the heart of Moab

Day 3: (Wednesday) Arches • Moab

With 2,000 arches giving the name to Arches National Park, your camera will have plenty to capture

• Hike to Delicate Arch
• Hike to Landscape Arch and several other arches
• Enjoy a relaxing evening in Moab
• Dinner is up to your discretion
• Stay at the Radcliffe Hotel in the heart of Moab.

Day 4: (Thursday) Goblin Valley • Torrey • Capitol Reef

Travel along the eastern edge of the San Rafael Swell on scenic Highway 24

• Discover Goblin Valley with its vivid rock formations sprouting up from the valley floor
• Capitol Reef's distinctly different geology of stark monoliths and massive domes make this lesser-known national park a must-see
• Hike to Chimney Rock
• Dinner in Torrey, Utah's first international night sky community, and small-town bordering Capitol Reef National Park.
• Stay at the Red Sands Hotel and Spa in Torrey.

Day 5: (Friday) Bryce Canyon • Springdale

Take in the majesty of Bryce Canyon's natural amphitheaters and pinnacles from the canyon rim

• Hike the Peak-a-Boo Loop Trail and the Tower Bridge hike
• Transfer to Springdale, Utah footsteps from the entrance of Zion National Park
• Springdale is full of great dining options and shops all within walking distance or by taking the free town shuttle
• Spend the evening deep within the incredible canyon walls at the riverside lodging and botanical gardens of Cliffrose Lodge and Gardens.

Day 6: (Saturday) Zion National Park • The Narrows • Springdale

Rugged gorges with sheer sandstone walls up to 2,000 feet high, waterfalls, hanging gardens and slot canyons combine to create the awe-inspiring Zion National Park

• Gather gear and hike The Narrows
• After a full day of activities, enjoy another peaceful evening in Springdale at the Cliffrose Lodge.

Day 7: (Sunday) Scout Lookout • Salt Lake City

Get up with the sun and head back into Zion National Park for your final hike of the trip, Scout Lookout with a possible Angel's Landing (permits pending).

• After the hike, have a nice lunch and head back to Salt Lake City
• Enjoy your last evening at the Little America in Salt Lake City

Day 8: (Monday) Fly Out Of The Salt Lake City International Airport

Unwind and relax while your guide transfers you from Little America Hotel back to the Salt Lake City International Airport for the return flight home.
