Planning a wellness retreat isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about creating something that feels right—for your group, your energy, and your vision. We’ve teamed up with yoga teachers, coaches, and wellness leaders to bring retreats to life that feel grounded, intentional, and easy to love.

We’re not here to hand you a preset package. We’re here to co-create something that fits. Want to open each day with meditation in the red rocks? Take your group canyoneering between journaling sessions? Keep things slow and quiet, or full of movement and nature? We’ve done it all. You bring the idea. We’ll help shape the rest.

Finding the Perfect Place to Reconnect

Utah is full of places that feel sacred in their own way. Towering cliffs. Silent forests. Hot springs tucked into quiet corners of the desert. Whether you’re leaning toward Bryce Canyon, Zion, or somewhere off the beaten path, the land here has a way of holding space for whatever kind of work you want to do.

We start every retreat conversation by asking the most important question: What do you need this space to feel like?

From there, we build everything around it—whether it’s a small group weekend or a full-scale weeklong experience. Restful or adventurous, structured or slow, we’ll help you land somewhere that matches the tone you’re looking for.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

No retreat is the same, and that’s kind of the point. But here’s a rough idea of how the rhythm might go:

Sunrise Grounding
Start the morning with yoga, meditation, or a silent hike—somewhere beautiful and still. A canyon overlook, a forest clearing, or just outside your lodge with a warm drink in hand.

Nourishing Meals
Breakfasts (and all meals, really) are thoughtfully sourced, often local, and meant to nourish—not overwhelm. Think fresh fruit, herbal teas, warm oats, protein-packed scrambles, and yes, really good coffee if you’re into that.

Nature Time
Late mornings might include a scenic hike, a grounding walk, or an afternoon dip in natural hot springs. We’ve led everything from mindful movement in the sand to journaling circles under cottonwoods. Nature plays a big role, however it shows up.

Afternoon Practices
This could be a sound bath, a breathwork session, or a creative workshop. These are guided and gentle spaces for reflection and integration.

Evening Slow Down
End the day with something soft: fireside chats, stargazing, slow-flow movement, or even just some quiet downtime. Some groups opt for spa treatments using local lavender and clay. Others just curl up and talk.

Dinner & Connection
Shared meals are often where the best conversations happen. Whether we’re at a community table outside or hosting a private chef dinner inside your lodge, we keep things cozy and intentional.

The Little Things Make a Big Impact

The magic often lives in the details. We’ve seen it over and over again:

  • Small groups (under 12) so it feels personal
  • Lodging that feels like home, but better
  • Thoughtful touches—welcome kits, cozy layers, herbal teas
  • Transportation handled so you don’t have to think about it
  • A planning team that actually listens and adjusts

We’re here to help you create something that feels natural and aligned. Nothing rushed. Nothing forced.

Who This Is For

We’ve helped plan retreats for all kinds of groups:

  • Corporate teams craving a real reset
  • Yoga teachers hosting their first (or fifth) retreat
  • Families wanting to reconnect, screens off
  • Coaches and wellness leaders building something truly special

Whether you’ve led retreats before or this is your very first, we’re here to support the vision—and help carry the logistics.

Tips for Planning Your Wellness Retreat

Here are a few things we’ve learned along the way:

  1. Start with the vibe. Don’t worry about the full schedule just yet. Get clear on what you want people to feel.
  2. Go with the seasons. Utah is stunning year-round, but the experience shifts. Spring and fall are mellow and colorful. Winter is still and snowy. Summer brings early mornings and starry nights.
  3. Pack light. Layers, walking shoes, maybe a journal. Most of what you’ll need, we’ve got.
  4. Let go of the plan (a little). Some of the best moments are the ones that weren’t on the schedule.

Want Something That’s Already Put Together?

Not everyone wants to plan every little detail—and honestly, you don’t have to. If you’d rather lead a retreat that’s already been thoughtfully mapped out, check out our Utah National Parks Wellness Tour. It’s a 6-day experience that takes you through Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, and a few other incredible spots along the way. We’ve mixed in hikes, wellness practices, good food, and space to just be. Everything’s already planned—you just show up, take a deep breath, and settle in. It’s a great fit if you want something meaningful and restorative without having to design the whole thing yourself.

Let’s Create Something Meaningful

This isn’t just about getting away. It’s about coming back—to yourself, your group, the quiet, the land. At Utah Luxury Tours, we believe in wellness that’s rooted in intention and guided by nature. Not performative, not perfect. Just real.

If that’s what you’re looking to build, we’d love to help.

Reach out. Let’s make something beautiful together.
